Finished up with my client in the Richmond-Berkeley area last night….A successful site visit with lots accomplished…
As a reward to myself, I woke up early, enjoyed a nice breakfast buffet at the hotel, then hopped in my X to cruise home via Pacific Coast Highway.
Got hung up for about an hour and a half for a conference call while passing through Carmel….
No problem, converted this view into a convenient meeting location….the folks at the East Coast home office were none-to-please…
The Northern California coastline drive is a must. The views are spectacular. I did this trip solo, but have done previous trips with company a few years back…romantic views, serene settings…Monterrey and Fisherman’s Wharf at the end of all of it…a nice weekend drive. On this trip, apparently there was a landslide and lots of road repair going on. Part of PCH appear to be breaking away from the bluffs…the roadways have lots of uneasy-looking creases.
For now, it’s break time while I sip a cup ‘o Joe at Carpenteria Beach ….and this is where I write you from as I wait for the traffic in L.A. to die down from the Friday getaway….
